Be a captain of your very own Ship!
Real cash prizes!
So you will be the captain of a pirate ship, but start from scratch. Indeed, you will have to learn how to improve your ship, your crew, and how to get more and more gold. For this, you will have to fight loads of monsters through tons of quests, in order to become the most respected pirate sailing over the seven seas of Sea Fight.
You will have to choose a name first, which is quite important as it will be the name of your boat too, so try to choose a bloody one. Then comes the server choice, they are all over the world so you should hopefully find one in your continent.
Sea Fight is original in many ways, and that's what makes it so addictive. One first and main aspect is that Sea Fight is simply totally free, so no problem on the money side, even if there is a premium access which can make the game easier. Secondly, you got two screens to take care of: the web page is a kind of a harbor, where you will find the Pub, launch new quests, buy other ships or new items... The second screen is basically where you sail and fight.
In the first hours and for some levels, you will essentially fight against NPC monsters, or other pirates who are also NPC. Then, you will have to form clans and finds mates if you want to survive and make huge Player-versus-Player fights.
At the beginning, the customization is not that advanced, you can sometimes just watch you ship sailing through the map to finish some quests and you will have to buy specific items to complete them as well, so the shop in Sea Fight will be your friend. Then, you will have to pass the frightening Pirate Test, where you will have to fight and show you skills. The combats in Sea Fight are not that complicated, you just have to click on the monster to attack him straight away. If you have sufficient ammunition, then you should have no problems.
The graphics are quite simple, but as it is a browser game, that's quite normal. Still, there could be some animations... But the main point of Sea Fight remains the PvP system. When you will get some good level and experience, you will be able to take part into giant battles with hundreds of player on huge maps that can be controlled by players' guilds, and that is definitely fun. If you like these kind of massive cooperation and fight games, you should really try Sea Fight!
INFO ON REAL CASH PRIZES!!
The jackpot battles are pretty much like playing a different game altogether... there is a prize of real money that is the targeted goal to win, and it is only given to one individual pirate (or in the case of the guild jackpot - to the guild) who gets the most points... so in the end it is every 'pirate' for themselves.
Jackpot Battle
The Jackpot Battle gives you double chances to win! As a solo player, you can break your own Jackpot – and whoever plays in a guild can also rake in the dough!
The battle begins on the last Saturday of the month and start at 14:00 and ends at 20:00 GMT+2
The battle will take place on the normal sea charts. All those who register for the Jackpot Battle will be displayed as Jackpot Battle players and will be identified on the maps in a different colour. Players that compete in the Jackpot battle are marked with a skull:
Requirements for Participation
You must have reached at least Level 6 in the game! To take part in the Guild Jackpot, each guild leader must activate his members for the battle. Only with this activation can the guild participate in the guild ranking.
The Goal
To collect as many ranking points as possible! The solo player winner breaks his jackpot with up to $10,000, the guild players win together up to $5,000!
How the Jackpot Battle Works
-All participating players will be marked as Jackpot Battle players on the map – on the mini-map they will be displayed in another colour.
-There are special Jackpot Battle NPCs which can only be attacked by participants in the Jackpot Battle; these NPCs will fire back! Every attack on these NPCs brings points – the attacks as well as sinking the NPC.
-The number of points you have is based on the amount of hit points you destroy.
-Of course, you also fight against real opponents; namely against all the others who also registered for the Jackpot Battle. Important: During the Jackpot Battle, the participants are not able to be attacked by “normal“ players – they fight completely among themselves.
-During the Jackpot Battle, the object is to gain as many points in the ranking as possible. For each enemy or NPC hit point destroyed you receive 1 point. If you are attacked, you lose your hit points accordingly. Important: With every hit point lost, you lose 1 point in the ranking!
-If you get sunk, the Jackpot Battle is over for you – your lost hit points will be subtracted from your ranking points. The remaining points still count in the ranking until the Jackpot Battle is over. If you log out, your points also remain in the ranking – and you can continue the battle at any time within the duration of the jackpot battle game period.
Be aware: Lost hit points stay lost even after the end of the Jackpot Battle when the “normal” game continues.
In the ranking on the start page you can see how many points each Jackpot Battle participant has earned. In the future you will see a ranking for each participating player and an additional one for the guild.
As such you have double the chance to break your jackpot! As a solo player you can win – as before - your personal jackpot of up to $10,000. As a guild you can earn up to an additional $5,000 for guild account!
Who wins?
There will be a solo winner and a guild winner. For both win possibilities there are separate ranking lists.
-Solo Player Ranking: The player with the most points at the end of the battle wins.
Guild Ranking: The guild whose Jackpot Battle players during the battle have collected the most points – divided by the number of guild members – wins. Members expelled during the battle remain in the calculation. All guilds start the Jackpot Battle with 0 points. At the end, all points from guild members flow into the guild ranking and will be added together.
The Guild Jackpot! Go on a treasure hunt for your guild – and fill the guild jackpot with up to $5,000! Every pirate who collects the special Glitters (treasures) on the oceans of Seafight helps fill the guild’s treasure chest. All jackpot dollars hidden in the Glitters will be paid directly into the guild jackpot. If you go to battle with your guild in the next Jackpot Battle, you will have the chance to break the jackpot! If you win the Jackpot Battle as a guild, the guild jackpot will be paid out.
Note: If a pirate leaves his guild, he has no claim on the jackpot dollars he collected for the guild. They stay in the guild jackpot!
Ranking
On the start page you will find the current ranking of the Jackpot Battle – there is a solo player ranking and a guild ranking. Every hit point you destroy is worth 1 point; thanks to the rankings you will always be up to date, because the rankings will be updated every 15 minutes.
In addition, the ranking is a global – all charts from around the world included – ranking. It doesn’t matter where you fight the Jackpot Battle (whether on the global chart, on the English or American chart or on one of the foreign charts – the ranking unites all Jackpot Battle participants).
Tournaments are not open to residents of the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vermont
